About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Equity Research Team Lead who can lead and manage our equity research team while actively contributing to stock research, valuation, and research report preparation.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in equity research and financial analysis, along with the ability to guide team members, review their research, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of research outputs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Equity Research team .
- Guide analysts in stock research, financial analysis, and valuation.
- Review and validate research reports, financial models, and investment analysis.
- Analyse financial statements, business models, industries, and market trends.
- Oversee valuations using DCF and relative valuation methods.
- Ensure research follows the company's structured value investing framework .
- Mentor team members and improve the quality of research output.
- Coordinate research assignments and ensure timely completion.
- Support preparation of research reports, presentations, and investment notes.
- Assist in addressing member queries related to equity research.




- Stay updated on market developments, sectors, and company-specific events.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in Equity Research, Financial Research, Investment Research, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, business analysis, and valuation .
- Hands-on knowledge of DCF and relative valuation .
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Prior experience in leading/managing a research team is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to review, mentor, and develop junior research analysts.
- Candidates who have completed our Value Investing Cohort will be preferred.
- Solid attention to detail and willingness to follow a structured research process.
