Gurugram

We're looking for a Senior Engineer / Technology Lead who believes AI is transforming how enterprise software is built—not just by adding AI features, but by reimagining products from the ground up.

We're looking for an engineer who understands how to design, build, and scale intelligent systems—someone who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with practical AI expertise and can mentor teams developing the next generation of AI-first enterprise platforms, intelligent business applications, and modern cloud-native solutions.

What you'll build

- Enterprise knowledge platforms and RAG solutions
- AI-first enterprise products
- Intelligent ERP and business applications
- Enterprise web and mobile applications
- AI Agents and multi-agent workflows
- Workflow automation and copilots

Role Requirements:

Core (must have real, hands-on depth in most of this):

- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
- A strong primary language for production backend work — Python or C#/.NET
- LLM APIs in production — OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or AWS Bedrock
- RAG / retrieval systems — vector databases (e.g. Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Qdrant, FAISS, Chroma), embeddings, chunking, hybrid search
- Agent orchestration frameworks — LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- AI evaluation, observability, guardrails, security, and governance
- REST API design, microservices, and cloud deployment (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP fine)
- Strong database experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- CI/CD, DevOps, Git, containerization and Kubernetes is an advantage

Strong plus (not dealbreakers, but real differentiators):

- .NET Core/C# and Microsoft Azure specifically — App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel
- Durable / long-running workflow orchestration — Temporal, Azure Durable Functions, or equivalent
- Integration experience with ERP, CRM, or field-service management systems — SAP, Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceM8, Simpro, or similar
- LLM evaluation and observability tooling — RAGAS, Langfuse, or a self-built eval harness
- Security/governance design — RBAC/ABAC, PII handling, authorisation enforced at the retrieval layer, not by the model
- Enterprise identity providers — Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Okta,

or Google Workspace — including federating user and group-membership data to drive access control across the platform
- Source connectors into enterprise content systems — SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Confluence, or similar — with a explicit grasp of how document-level and folder-level permissions there need to carry through to retrieval
- Prior experience in a client-delivery or consulting environment, not just in-house product teams
- Identity platforms - Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML
- Enterprise Integration - Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Salesforce

As a Technology Lead, you'll

- Lead the technical vision for AI-first products
- Define architecture and engineering standards
- Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams
- Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and design reviews
- Work closely with product teams and enterprise customers
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and determine where they create real business value
- Balance innovation with scalability, security, governance, and maintainability
- Foster an AI-first engineering culture where developers effectively leverage AI throughout the software development lifecycle

THE BAR — WHAT WE ACTUALLY NEED

- You've shipped a RAG or agentic system to production and kept it alive — not a weekend LangChain demo, not a hackathon prototype. You've dealt with what happens when it's wrong, slow, or expensive at 2am.
- You think in evaluation sets and numbers. If you can't tell us your retrieval precision, your latency at P95, or your cost per interaction on something you've built, this isn't the role.
- You design for failure first. Refusal paths, confidence gates, and "I don't know" are things you build deliberately — not edge cases you patch later.
- You've built real integrations against real systems — APIs with auth, rate limits, pagination, and the schema drift that comes with production data — not just called an LLM API and called it done.

- You're comfortable being the most senior technical person in the room, with no team to hide behind and no fully-specified brief to follow.
- You write things down. Design notes, architecture decisions, trade-offs — because six months from now, someone (possibly you) needs to know why.

Why this Role

- Direct, ongoing architecture partnership with the founder — not layers of management between you and real decisions
- Real enterprise clients and real production stakes from day one, not a sandbox
- High ownership and direct impact on the product
- Fast learning and growth environment
- Competitive salary
- Collaborative work culture

Why Join Us

- Opportunity to be part of a core team shaping new products and platforms
- Exposure to both Technology services and Product development
- Direct mentorship from Leadership with decades of industry experience
- Long-term growth into Technical and Leadership roles
- Stable, professional work environment with a focus on quality and ownership

QUICK SELF-CHECK BEFORE YOU APPLY

Be honest with yourself here — it'll save us both time. You should be able to tick at least 5 of these 7:

- I have shipped a RAG or agentic AI system that real users depended on in production — and I can describe an incident it had.
- I can quote real numbers from something I built: retrieval quality, latency, eval pass rate, or cost per query etc.
- I have designed a system to refuse or escalate when it isn't confident, rather than always giving an answer.
- I have built integrations against real enterprise or third-party systems with authentication, rate limits, and messy real-world data.
- I can explain, without needing to look it up, why you should never let an LLM decide who's allowed to see a document.
- I am comfortable owning an ambiguous, unspecified problem with no team and no manager checking in daily.
- I default to writing a short design note before I start building something non-trivial.

If that's 5 or more, we want to hear from you. If it's fewer than 3, this specific role will likely be a frustrating fit for both of us right now — and that's a genuinely useful thing to know before applying.
