The Senior/Junior Engineer Execution will support the site team in supervising and executing day-to-day construction activities on real estate development projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use). The role involves ensuring timely progress, quality adherence, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day site execution of civil and finishing works as per project plans and drawings.
- Monitor contractors work, ensuring adherence to quality standards, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth work flow.
- Measure and record quantities for billing, procurement, and progress tracking.
- Ensure implementation of safety practices and compliance with statutory requirements on-site.
- Maintain daily site reports, labour deployment logs, material usage, and work progress records.
- Report discrepancies or issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager for timely resolution.
- Assist in checking shuttering, reinforcement,
and concrete work prior to pouring.
- Coordinate for inspections with QA/QC, consultants, and third parties.
- Help ensure the site is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil)/Diploma in civil.
- 3 to 8 years of experience into execution of residential, commercial projects.
- Sound understanding of civil engineering principles and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Familiarity with site safety procedures and quality standards
- Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and project management tools is a plus
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
