Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to design and build automation for the build, test, validation and release processes of a large software framework used in the wind-energy domain.

You will be part of a team working closely with engineers from design through implementation, adoption and handover.

What You'll Do

- Design and implement Azure DevOps (CI/CD)/GitHub pipelines, including multi-stage workflows, dependencies, triggers, concurrency, Environments and approvals.
- Build reusable pipeline templates and the underlying PowerShell and Python automation.
- Provision and maintain self-hosted Windows build agents using Terraform and Ansible.
- Integrate automated testing, including Google Test, with release artefacts.
- Support Git repository migration to Azure Repos, branching strategy and pull-request policies.
- Design reliable integrations and automation with appropriate retries, timeouts, error handling, observability and audit evidence.
- Produce technical designs, documentation and runbooks, and contribute to design reviews and mentoring.

What You'll Bring





- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant CI/CD, automation or developer-tooling experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, integration, testing and automation.
- Good knowledge of Git, especially repository migration domain.
- Solid hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, or GitHub and pipelines.
- Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
- Comfortable working directly with customer engineering teams.
- Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

- C#/.NET, C++, CMake or Python development.
- Experience with MATLAB, PSCAD or engineering software environments.
- Consulting or customer-facing engineering experience.
