Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman to join our construction and design team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in preparing detailed construction drawings and coordinating architectural, structural, and interior drawings.

The role requires excellent technical drafting skills, strong knowledge of construction detailing, and the ability to coordinate effectively with designers, engineers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed working drawings and construction drawings for residential and other building projects.
- Develop architectural plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and execution drawings.
- Prepare and coordinate structural, civil, interior, and MEP-related drawings wherever required.
- Study project requirements and convert design concepts into accurate and practical technical drawings.
- Ensure all drawings are properly dimensioned, detailed, and suitable for site execution.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, project managers, and site engineers regarding drawing requirements and revisions.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies, missing details, and coordination issues before issuing them to the execution team.
- Prepare drawing revisions based on site conditions, consultant comments, and project requirements.
- Support site teams by providing clarifications and resolving drawing-related technical issues.
- Prepare detailed construction and shop drawings when required.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, verification, coordination, and updating drawings based on actual site conditions.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings after project completion.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revision histories, and document control.
- Ensure drawings are completed and issued according to project schedules and deadlines.




- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors for technical drawings, submissions, and approvals.
- Guide and review the work of junior draftsmen and support them in improving drafting quality and technical knowledge.
- Maintain company drawing standards, templates, layers, and documentation procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all drawings issued for projects.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction, architectural, or civil drafting.
- Strong practical knowledge of building construction methods and technical detailing.
- Excellent ability to understand and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Revit and SketchUp will be an added advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Office and drawing/document management.
- Strong understanding of dimensions, levels, sections, detailing, and construction specifications.
- Ability to independently manage multiple drawing requirements and meet strict deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in residential villas, apartments, commercial buildings, and interior projects will be preferred.

Experience in coordinating drawings with site execution teams and consultants will be a strong advantage.

Knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and basic material estimation will be considered an added advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
