Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize new product components and assemblies using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other CAD/CAE tools.

- Generate 3D models, 2D drawings, and engineering documentation in accordance with company and industry standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned with performance, safety, manufacturability, cost, and quality requirements.

- Conduct engineering analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and GD&T; application to validate design feasibility.

- Support prototype development, testing, and validation, incorporating test feedback into design improvements.

- Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical specifications, and engineering reports throughout the NPD process.

- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for DFM and DFA.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices,



tools, and methodologies within the engineering team.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-8 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in new product development (NPD).

- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and simulation tools (FEA/CFD knowledge preferred).

- Strong knowledge of GD&T;, tolerance analysis, DFM, and DFA principles.

- Familiarity with international standards, certifications, compliance requirements.

- Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation processes.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a rapid-paced environment.
