Position: Senior Data Analyst (Tariff Data)

Overall/Total Experience: 4-7 years only

Location: Pune (Only for Candidates living in Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur)

Working Days: 5 Days Working from Office

Notice Period Requirement: 30 Days (Maximum)

Client's Company Size: Mid-Sized

Roles and responsibilities:

- Understands complex utility tariffs, rates and programs and converts these into a model.
- Responsible for analysis of the energy utilization data for cost and usage patterns and derive meaningful patterns.
- Responsible for Maintaining the tariff models with timely updates for price, logic or other enhancements as per client requirement.
- Assist delivery team in validating the input data received from client for modelling work.
- Responsible for Communicating & Co-ordinating with Delivery team.
- Work with Cross functional teams to resolve issues in the Modelling tool.
- Build and deliver compelling demonstrations/visualizations of products.
- Be a good learner and develop your skills continuously.
- Contribute to the success of a rapidly growing and evolving organization.

Candidate Requirements:

- Strong Data Analyst Profile with advanced Excel and SQL expertise.




- Must have 4 years of overall experience as a hands-on Data Analyst.
- Must be highly proficient in advanced Excel complex functions, macros, calculations, and pivots.
- Must have strong hands-on SQL and a good understanding of relational database concepts.
- Must be able to automate routine tasks using Python (for automation purposes).
- Must have exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to understand complex data and business logic and convert it into a model (the role models complex utility tariffs, rates, and programs).
- Must have robust verbal and written communication, able to work independently with India- and US-based team members and articulate problems and solutions over calls and email.
- Must be based locally in Pune (or the nearby Maharashtra belt Mumbai, Nagpur), as the final round is in person.

Preferred:

- Experience in the Energy/Utility industry and familiarity with basic utility (electrical/gas) tariff concepts.
- Experience in Excel macros; Python or shell scripting; 1 year of Agile methodology experience.
