As part of the HR Transformation Team, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver technology-enabled transformation solutions and help organizations maximize the value of their Oracle Cloud applications.

Your Role

As a Senior Consultant Oracle Reporting, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing reporting solutions using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and BI Publisher (BIP) across Oracle Cloud applications.

You will work closely with clients and functional teams to understand business reporting requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver accurate, scalable, and high-quality reports.

Certifications

Oracle certifications in areas such as BI, OTBI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), or related Oracle technologies will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is an experienced Oracle Reporting professional with strong hands-on expertise in OTBI and BI Publisher, excellent analytical capabilities, and experience working with Oracle Cloud applications. The candidate should be comfortable working directly with clients, translating business requirements into reporting solutions, troubleshooting complex reporting issues, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of customized OTBI and BI Publisher reports for Oracle Cloud applications such as HCM, ERP, SCM, and other modules.
- Work closely with functional teams and clients to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Develop, customize, and optimize OTBI analyses, dashboards, and reports to provide accurate and effective business reporting.
- Design and deploy BI Publisher reports, including data models, layouts, templates, and bursting where required.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and reporting activities within Oracle Cloud environments.
- Support integration of Oracle reporting solutions with external applications and third-party systems where required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OTBI, BI Publisher, data discrepancies, report performance, and data retrieval.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.




- Perform performance tuning and optimization of OTBI and BI Publisher reports to improve efficiency and data retrieval times.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing reports to ensure continued alignment with business requirements and Oracle Cloud updates.
- Work with clients to gather feedback, validate reporting solutions, and ensure reports meet business and user expectations.
- Provide guidance, best practices, and technical mentoring to junior consultants and development team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting opportunities and recommend effective Oracle reporting solutions.
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud releases, reporting capabilities, and enhancements to OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Key Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle reporting, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher.
- Strong experience designing and implementing reporting solutions using Oracle Cloud Applications.
- Hands-on expertise in developing, customizing, troubleshooting, and optimizing OTBI reports.
- Strong experience with BI Publisher data models, templates, layouts, and report development.
- Good understanding of Oracle Cloud reporting architecture and data structures.
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud applications such as HCM, ERP, SCM, or related modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with report performance tuning and optimization.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud security, roles, and permissions related to report access.
- Experience with integration of OTBI/BIP reports with external systems or third-party tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Agile project management and implementation methodologies.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
