Position Summary

As a Senior Consultant for GES Data Management (GDM) in the GES Technology Group, you will work closely with product owners, architects and technical teams to leading the requirements, release planning and technical support for data management solutions using Informatica platform.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 8AM to 11PM

Qualifications

- UG: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
- 6+ year of experience in data management, master data management, data catalogs
- 6+ years of experience with one or more of the Informatica MDM/SaaS or Multidomain MDM/Informatica Reference 360 or RDM/Informatica CDGC/Informatica Data Quality
- 2-3 year of experience implementing data catalogs, business glossaries, metadata management, data lineage, and data ownership frameworks.
- 2–3 year of experience in data quality management and remediations.
- Informatica certifications in MDM, CDGC, Data Quality, or related technologies is preferred.
- Solid SQL and data analysis skills with experience working on large enterprise datasets.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Experience working with relational databases, APIs, integration patterns, and enterprise application ecosystems.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments is preferred.
- Ability to lead workshops and communicate effectively with both business and technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to support evolving data management processes.

Key job responsibilities
- Define requirements for master data and reference data producers and consumers, covering both initial loads and real-time data feeds.




- Partner with solution architects to define:
- Match-and-merge rules
- Survivorship strategies
- Trust-scoring approaches
- Data stewardship workflows
- Reference data structures and mappings
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, solution designs, user stories, and implementation plans.
- Lead configuration, integration, data mapping, migration, and testing activities across Informatica and connected source and target systems.
- Oversee Data Catalog implementation, including business glossaries, data lineage, classifications, data ownership, and stewardship workflows.
- Coordinate with architects, developers, data engineers, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to manage delivery dependencies and resolve issues.
- Prepare and deliver solution demonstrations, executive presentations, training sessions, and knowledge-transfer materials for business data stewards and data consumers.
