Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Engineer to join our Projects team and handle Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Grey-water Treatment, wastewater and related civil infrastructure projects.

The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, measurements, quantity verification, quality control, project coordination, progress monitoring and maintenance support. The role requires regular coordination with project teams, contractors, vendors, consultants and clients to ensure that work is completed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working at project sites and should have practical knowledge of STP civil works, RCC structures, tanks, pipelines, foundations and utility works.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Execution & Supervision

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at STP and wastewater project sites.
- Monitor excavation, foundations, RCC works, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing and other civil works.
- Supervise construction of STP tanks, chambers, collection tanks, treatment units, foundations and associated structures.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers and site teams for smooth execution.

1. STP & Wastewater Project Works

- Handle civil works related to Sewage Treatment Plants, Greywater Treatment Plants and wastewater management projects.
- Monitor installation-related civil requirements for tanks, pipelines, pumps, equipment and utility systems.
- Coordinate civil activities with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation teams.
- Support site activities during STP commissioning, trial runs and rectification works.
- Identify civil-related issues affecting plant operation and coordinate corrective actions.

1. Measurement, Quantity & Cost Control

- Take and verify site measurements and quantities.




- Check quantities executed by contractors and support preparation of measurement sheets.
- Assist in preparation and verification of BOQs, estimates and project costing.
- Monitor material consumption and identify quantity variations.
- Coordinate with the Projects and Accounts teams regarding work quantities, bills and project costing.

1. Quality & Safety

- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure civil works meet required quality standards.
- Check materials, workmanship and construction practices.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and relevant standards.
- Identify defects, rework requirements and quality issues and ensure timely rectification.
- Ensure proper implementation of site safety requirements.

1. Project Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, clients and internal teams.
- Prepare daily/weekly site progress updates and report project status to management.
- Track completed work, pending activities, site issues and dependencies.
- Monitor project timelines and follow up with contractors to avoid delays.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates.

1. Site Inspection & Maintenance

- Conduct regular inspections of ongoing and completed project sites.
- Monitor STP trial runs and operational performance from the civil works perspective.
- Identify civil maintenance requirements such as leakage, structural defects, drainage issues, pipeline-related civil works and other site issues.
- Coordinate rectification and maintenance activities when required.

1. Tender & Technical Support

- Assist the team with tender documentation, BOQ preparation, estimation and technical inputs.
- Review drawings and identify civil work requirements.
- Support vendor and contractor evaluation from a technical perspective.
- Assist in planning manpower, materials and resources required for project execution.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in STP, wastewater treatment, sewage treatment or related infrastructure projects preferred.
- Solid practical knowledge of civil site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements and BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of construction quality and safety practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to different project locations.

- Knowledge of project management / estimation software will be an advantage.
