Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead BI development and support the team in delivering high-quality, scalable data and analytics solutions.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Power BI/BI tools, data engineering, and data visualization, along with the ability to guide developers, review their work, solve technical challenges, and drive projects from requirement to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and guide the BI team across multiple client projects and technical challenges.
- Design and develop advanced, interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries across different data sources.
- Build robust data models, data pipelines, and transformation workflows.
- Work with data sources such as BigQuery, Azure SQL, APIs, Excel, and cloud platforms.
- Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, calculated fields, and business logic.
- Review team members' dashboards, SQL, data models, and overall technical work.
- Mentor developers and help them improve their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Own BI projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering and solution design to deployment.
- Identify and resolve data quality, performance, and scalability issues.




- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
- Use Python for data processing, automation, or supporting data workflows where required.

Ideal Candidate

- 5–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI or equivalent BI tools such as Tableau/Looker.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/data pipelines, and data engineering concepts.
- Strong understanding of DAX and BI performance optimization.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, or guiding BI/Data teams.
- Ability to review technical work and provide practical guidance to team members.
- Good understanding of data visualization, dashboard design, and analytical storytelling.
- Good to have Python experience for automation or data processing.
- Strong communication, ownership, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a rapid-paced consulting environment.
