Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong AI skills to design and build scalable data and AI solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Python and Azure AI Foundry, along with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

- Solid expertise in Azure Databricks and Python
- Azure Data Engineering – ADF, Azure SQL DB, Databricks Apps and Medallion Architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry
- Experience designing, developing and deploying AI applications and AI agents
- Strong understanding of LLMs and Prompt Engineering
- Experience with CI/CD and GitHub

Nice to Have
- Databricks Mosaic AI
- Exposure to latest Databricks and Generative/Agentic AI capabilities

Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable,



end-to-end data engineering and AI solutions.
- Develop data pipelines and platforms using Azure Databricks, Python and related Azure services.
- Build and deploy AI applications and agents using Azure AI Foundry.
- Translate business requirements and data strategy into effective technical solutions.
- Act as an SME and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders and present solution designs and recommendations.
- Drive engineering best practices, implementation efficiency and reusable solutions.
- Contribute to CoE and Community of Practice (CoP) initiatives.
