Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Embedded C/MISRA C software for automotive systems.
- Work on CAN, GMLAN and LIN vehicle communication protocols.
- Develop and support OBD-II diagnostics and automotive diagnostic functions.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, software verification and validation processes.
- Support GM product release and software specification processes.
- Work on electronic chassis systems and vehicle dynamics.
- Apply Functional Safety principles in automotive software development.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, calibration and supplier engineering teams.
- Analyze software/hardware requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and supplier resident engineers.
- Participate in Protected Agile Release processes.




- Utilize HyperMesh as required for automotive engineering activities.

- Experience working on GM automotive projects
- Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and electronic chassis systems
- DFSS Black Belt Certification
- Experience with customer interface technologies
