Maintics Automation & Robotics LLP is a Gurugram-based industrial automation firm. We design and build control panels and write the PLC, HMI and SCADA software that runs them machine automation, line control and production traceability systems that put live shop-floor data in front of a plant's management.

We are now building a robot and PLC integration team: robotic cells where an ABB or Yaskawa robot works under a Mitsubishi PLC as part of a larger machine or line. We are hiring a Lead PLC Programmer to take that work on.

You will report to the Manager Automation Engineering and guide the team working alongside you.

What you will do

Study customer SORs, I/O lists and process write-ups; prepare the control philosophy and software design before a line of code is written.

Write, structure and test PLC logic on Mitsubishi MELSEC (FX, Q, iQ-F, iQ-R) in GX Works2 / GX Works3 code the next engineer can read and maintain.

Build HMI and SCADA applications: screens, alarms, interlocks, recipes, operator guidance, production reports and data logging.

Set up and troubleshoot communication between the PLC and the equipment around it CC-Link, CC-Link IE Field, Modbus TCP/RTU, Ethernet, DeviceNet, Profinet including master configuration and address mapping.

Integrate drives, servos, safety circuits, scanners, printers, weighing systems and instruments.

Review electrical schematics and I/O allocation with the design engineer before the panel goes into build, and catch mistakes on paper rather than at site.

Run FAT in our Gurugram workshop with the panel team, then commission at the customer's plant power-up, dry runs, trials,



operator and maintenance training, SAT sign-off.

Guide the junior engineers on the team, review their logic, and set the programming and documentation standards the team follows.

Keep the software estate in order backups, version records, as-built programs and handover documentation for every project.

What you must bring

47 years writing PLC code on live industrial projects machine or line automation, not only maintenance or panel wiring.

Strong hands-on Mitsubishi MELSEC with GX Works2 / GX Works3. Tell us the platforms you have actually shipped on.

HMI programming, Mitsubishi GOT preferred, and working knowledge of at least one SCADA package.

Practical fieldbus and serial communication experience you have configured a link, mapped the addresses and diagnosed one that would not come up.

Able to read electrical schematics, do your own I/O checks, and hold your ground with the electrical designer and the customer's maintenance team.

Independent at site: you have commissioned equipment yourself, including the part where it does not work and the customer is standing behind you.

A real appetite to learn robotics. This role is built around that, and we will invest in it.

Willing to travel to customer plants — roughly 30–40% of your time on site,



mostly North India.

B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Mechatronics. A Diploma holder with a strong project record is welcome to apply.

Preferred candidate profile

Any robot exposure at all — ABB, Yaskawa, Fanuc or Kuka — even if it was only working on a line that had one, or wiring a cell someone else programmed. It is a plus, not a requirement.

Second PLC platform: Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Studio 5000 or Delta.

Motion control and servo positioning; machine vision; safety relays and safety PLCs.

Has worked with automotive-component plants and knows what their documentation people expect.

Has taught themselves something substantial before — a recent platform, a protocol, a language. Tell us what and how; it matters more to us than a certificate.

Someone a customer is happy to have on their shop floor, and who stays calm with a line down and an audience.

Notice period of 30 days or less is a plus; this is an immediate requirement.
