Post : Senior Associate Business Operations & Supply Chain
Location: Mumbai / Dharwad, Karnataka
Qualification: MBA Preferred; Engineering background is a plus
Experience: 2 3 years (Heavy Industry / Manufacturing)
Salary : Upto 20 LPA
Job Profile
- Design and operationalize procurement and logistics processes for coal, consumables, and spares from scratch.
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and contractors; negotiate terms and build a robust supplier base for plant operations.
- Establish SOPs, purchase order workflows, and inventory management systems from the ground up.
- Liaise between plant teams, logistics partners, and corporate leadership; prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and status updates.
- Support contract reviews, statutory compliance tracking, and audit-readiness for procurement and operations functions.
- Collaborate across maintenance, finance, and HR to drive plant pre-commissioning and commissioning milestones on schedule.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Heavy Industry Exposure: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Steel, Power, Cement, Mining, or allied heavy industries.
- Procurement & SCM: Expertise in setting up vendor networks, negotiating contracts, and managing supply chain workflows.
- Tech-Forward & Analytics: Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills; familiarity with ERP/procurement software and up-to-date AI tools.
- Mobility & Languages: Willingness to travel to plant site (Dharwad) as required. Fluency in English and Hindi; Kannada is an advantage.
