Job Summary

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking Associate to join our growing team in Kolkata. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance skilled to build a strong foundation in Private Equity and M&A; deal execution, working on live transactions and client mandates.

The primary responsibilities of an Investment Banking Associate will be to:



- Support end-to-end execution of transactions


- Assist in M&A; deal origination, due diligence, deal structuring, and transaction execution


- Prepare pitch books, information memorandum, financial models, and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions)


- Conduct in-depth industry research, sector mapping, and company profiling to support client presentations and deal teams


- Coordinate with legal, compliance,



and regulatory teams during transaction processes


- Monitor market developments, capital market trends, private equity &
- VC Deals, and M&A; activity to generate actionable insights


- Maintain deal trackers, data rooms, and internal databases with accuracy and timeliness The Ideal Candidate Should Have

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A;, Transaction Advisory or related areas.
- Exposure to multiple verticals/functions within investment banking, rather than experience restricted to a single product or process.
- Strong experience in client interaction and stakeholder management.
- Excellent ability to conduct company, industry and market research.
- Strong hands-on experience in pitch-book / pitch-deck preparation.
- Good understanding of financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Strong command of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and work under tight timelines.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand the business objective behind a transaction.
