Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Mechatronics
Job Responsibilities
- Handle complete mechanical assembly of SPM and automation machines.
- Read and understand 2D/3D mechanical and assembly drawings.
- Perform machine fitting, drilling, tapping, alignment and leveling.
- Assemble fixtures, jigs, pneumatic cylinders, valves, sensors, linear guides, bearings and other machine components.
- Perform precision alignment, machine setting and trial runs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues during machine build and commissioning.
- Coordinate with Design, Electrical and PLC teams for machine completion.
- Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites.
- Ensure proper quality, dimensional accuracy and machine functionality.
- Guide and supervise junior assembly technicians.
- Complete assembly activities within project timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SPM / Automation Machine Assembly.
- Positive knowledge of mechanical components and machine mechanisms.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOM.
- Knowledge of precision fitting and machine alignment.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer and Dial Gauge.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently handle assembly activities and lead junior technicians.
Preferred Experience Experience in SPM, Special Purpose Machines, Industrial Automation, Fixtures & Jigs, Automotive Automation or similar machine-building industries will be preferred.
