We are looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead architectural design and project coordination for residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing designs, preparing technical drawings, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring projects are executed according to approved designs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and planning for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop concept designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Review and approve drawings prepared by Junior Architects and other team members.
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, and Project teams.
- Understand client requirements and develop suitable design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with Site Engineers and Project Managers.
- Ensure architectural designs are practical and suitable for site execution.
- Resolve design-related issues during construction.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and review BOQs, specifications, and material requirements when required.
- Ensure all drawings and design documents are issued within project timelines.
- Monitor project progress from a design perspective.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building regulations, codes, and local requirements.
- Guide and mentor Junior Architects and architectural team members.
- Participate in client meetings and present design concepts and proposals.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision records for all drawings.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD
- Revit / SketchUp
- 3D visualization knowledge is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of architectural planning and construction detailing
- Knowledge of building materials and construction methods
- Understanding of structural and MEP coordination
- Knowledge of building bye-laws and regulations
- Strong design and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good team management and coordination skills
Eligibility
- Qualification: B.Arch / M.Arch or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: 5–10 years in Architecture.
- Experience in residential and turnkey construction projects will be preferred.
- Strong portfolio of completed projects required.
- Candidates with valuable site coordination and project execution experience will be preferred.
