ROLE SUMMARY buildAhome is looking for a creative, technically strong and result-oriented Senior Architect with proven experience in residential projects. The candidate should be capable of handling multiple projects independently, from floor planning and design development to detailed drawings, 3D visualization and client coordination, while maintaining design quality and project timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop residential floor plans, architectural designs, elevations, layouts and design concepts as per project requirements.
- Prepare accurate design details, working drawings and construction drawings with practical execution considerations.
- Create 3D models, views and high-quality renderings for design presentations and client approvals.
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, expectations, design changes, modifications and approvals.
- Coordinate with internal Design, Projects, Site and other teams for smooth execution of approved designs.
- Handle multiple residential projects simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines.
- Monitor design progress and provide regular updates and reports on ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings, revisions and approvals to avoid project delays and escalations.
- Maintain strong focus on design quality, accuracy, functionality and construction feasibility.
- Take creative design initiatives and develop innovative,



practical and aesthetically strong solutions.
- Identify design issues proactively and ensure timely modifications and resolutions.
- Improve design quality, productivity and turnaround time through effective planning and coordination.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Lumion
- Enscape
- 3D Modelling & 3D Rendering
- Strong understanding of architectural drawings and documentation.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- 3–8 years of relevant experience in residential architecture/projects.
- B.Arch is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of residential planning, design development and working drawings.
- Excellent understanding of floor planning, space utilization, elevations, detailing and design execution.
- Strong 3D visualization and rendering skills.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Solid communication, coordination, reporting and follow-up skills.
- Creative mindset with strong design sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership and deliver projects with quality and timelines.
- Proactive, organized and capable of working in a fast-paced turnkey construction environment.
