Position : Senior Application Engineer – Node.js + React

Experience : 4–7 Years

Location : Noida

Work Mode : Work from Office

Role : Senior Individual Contributor

Backend/Frontend Split: Approximately 70% Backend / 30% Frontend

Note: The final round will be conducted at the Noida Office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop APIs, data models, and integrations using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop and maintain production backend services and REST APIs.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, migrations, and transactions.
- Develop scalable services with appropriate timeout, retry, idempotency, and concurrency mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, including CPU, memory, and event-loop performance.
- Implement monitoring using metrics, structured logging, and tracing.
- Develop React interfaces and integrate them with backend APIs.
- Handle data fetching, application state, forms, validation, accessibility, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring,



production support, and on-call activities.
- Independently take requirements from idea/discovery through design and implementation.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- Express / NestJS / Fastify
- PostgreSQL
- REST API development and API design
- React + TypeScript
- Production support / incident handling experience
- Git, CI/CD and Docker
- Robust problem-solving and independent ownership
- 4–7 years of experience building and operating production backend services

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Kubernetes
- Terraform
- AWS / GCP / Azure
- Kafka / RabbitMQ / SQS / Redis Streams
- Redis and caching
- OpenTelemetry
- Prometheus / Grafana / Datadog
- Next.js / Micro-frontends / Module Federation
- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Identity, or other regulated/high-trust domains

Important: This is a backend-heavy role, with approximately 70% backend and 30% frontend. Candidates should have strong Node.js/TypeScript experience and should not be primarily frontend-focused.
