Role Description The Senior Application Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web and mobile applications that power GuavaSure’s pet wellness platform. This role involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, while ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, integrating third-party services and internal APIs, managing databases, and optimizing front-end components for usability and responsiveness.

Developer will oversee code reviews, mentor junior developers,



and contribute to architectural decisions and best practices across the engineering team. The role also includes troubleshooting production issues, improving development workflows, and supporting continuous deployment and monitoring processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, including experience with up-to-date languages and frameworks used in web or mobile applications.
- Proficiency in working with Databases, including schema design, optimization, and secure data handling.
- Hands-on experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and related front-end technologies to build responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Experience in Integration of APIs, third-party services, and internal systems to create cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices for scalable, maintainable systems.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Background in deploying and monitoring applications in cloud or containerized environments is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate clearly, and mentor team members in a fast-paced product environment.
- Interest in pet wellness or consumer health platforms is a plus.
