Key Responsibilities

- Assess container damage notifications as per defined SOPs and service guidelines

- Scrutinize and verify documents and evidence for completeness, accuracy, and relevance

- Coordinate appointment of marine cargo surveyors to determine the cause of damage

- Collect and analyze required information and documentation for claims investigation

- Lead recovery settlement discussions with liable third parties and support recovery processes

- Liaise with internal departments, insurance companies, and P&I; clubs regarding claims

- Provide guidance on maritime and logistics-related matters to internal stakeholders

- Maintain records of recovery cases and associated costs using internal systems

- Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and service level agreements (SLAs)

- Prepare reports, statistics, and support ad-hoc claims-related tasks

- Escalate issues to senior management when required

- Support and mentor junior team members when needed.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized university

- Degree in Nautical Science is an added advantage

- Skilled training in law, shipping, or logistics preferred
