Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. In this position, the counselor will guide prospective students and families through the admissions process, including understanding their goals, suggesting suitable institutes, and explaining scholarship and development program options.

The role involves conducting counseling sessions, managing inquiries across phone, email, and in-person channels, and maintaining detailed records of interactions and follow-ups. The counselor will collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and updated information on colleges and programs, while also contributing to outreach initiatives and enrollment targets.



Day-to-day responsibilities include providing high-quality advisory support, handling escalated cases, and mentoring junior counselors to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively counsel diverse students and families.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a positive counseling experience.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support enrollment goals through ethical, needs-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge or experience, preferably in academic counseling, career guidance, or higher education systems.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in admissions or counseling roles, familiarity with Indian and international education pathways, strong organizational and documentation skills, and proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications in counseling or career guidance are an advantage.
