Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Satara.

Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role involves monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls, and will assist in audits and financial reviews. This position also requires collaborating with management to provide financial insights, improve accounting processes, and support decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills.
- Understanding of tax laws, statutory compliance, and audit processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and management.
