Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing journal entries, and reconciling accounts.

Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role will involve ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, monitoring internal controls, and assisting with audits.

Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial analysis and insights that support decision-making and business growth.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial models.
- Understanding of tax regulations, statutory compliance, and audit preparation.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide clear recommendations to leadership.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; skilled certifications (such as CA, CMA, or CPA equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or service industry.
- Experience in Tally, GST, TDS & ERP systems
