Job Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring statutory compliance, handling GST and TDS matters, assisting in audits, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally ERP.
Perform day-to-day accounting entries, including journal entries and ledger postings.
Prepare and file GST returns and ensure timely GST compliance.
Reconcile GST data and accounting records.
Handle GST notices and queries.
Manage TDS calculation, deduction, deposit and return filing.
Prepare TDS certificates and related records.
Assist in internal and statutory audits by preparing required documents and schedules.
Verify and reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers and customer accounts.
Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements as required.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance with applicable laws.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cost-control activities.
Audit/check the entries made by the Junior Accountant.
Act as a backup for the Junior Accountant in case of absence.
Handle bank payments in the absence of the CFO.
Handle bank liaisoning and related paperwork.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by the CFO.
Requirements
B.Com / CA Intermediate
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
