Position Overview A Mumbai-based ethnic-wear brand, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting across its retail and multi-channel e-commerce operations (Shopify, international storefront, and Amazon.in). The role reports to management and works closely with the HR/Admin, inventory, and operations teams.

Timing: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete books of accounts — journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations in Tally / accounting software.

Manage accounts payable and receivable; track vendor payments, customer receipts, and outstanding balances.

Handle GST compliance — GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation with 2A/2B, and timely return filing.

Manage TDS deduction, payment, and quarterly return filing.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations across all accounts and payment gateways.

Reconcile e-commerce settlements, marketplace payouts, refunds, and courier/COD remittances — including Shiprocket, Shopify, Razorpay, ShipGlobal, Easebuzz, and Quickship.

Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L;, cash-flow statements, and expense summaries for management.

Track and control fixed expenses (rent, electricity, utilities) and flag variances.

Support payroll processing and coordinate with HR on salary, attendance, and reimbursements.





Assist with inventory valuation and coordinate with the inventory team on stock accounting.

Coordinate with auditors, CA, and consultants for audits, finalisation, and statutory filings.

Maintain organised financial records and ensure audit-readiness at all times.

Required Qualifications & Skills

B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter or equivalent commerce qualification.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience — experience in a clothing / apparel brand is required.

Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).

Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian statutory compliance.

Hands-on experience reconciling Shiprocket, Shopify, Razorpay, ShipGlobal, Easebuzz, and Quickship settlements is essential.

High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Trustworthy, organised, and able to handle confidential financial data with integrity.

Preferred Attributes

Prior experience in fashion, apparel, or retail/e-commerce accounting.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple channels simultaneously.

Positive communication and coordination skills across teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
