Senior Accountant

Location: Kolkata

Work Mode: Work from Office

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Salary: ₹20,000 to ₹30,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and statutory compliance requirements. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Tally Prime, and MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle Income Tax Return filing, including ITR 1 to ITR 7
- Manage GST compliance and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to tax audits, including Forms 3CA, 3CB, and 3CD
- Calculate TDS, manage challan payments, and complete TDS return filing
- Handle PF and ESIC compliance activities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records




- Maintain accounting records and ensure timely completion of statutory compliance requirements

Requirements

- Graduate degree, preferably B.Com or a related finance qualification
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESIC
- Practical experience with relevant government portals
- Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel
- Ability to independently manage accounting and statutory compliance activities
- Positive attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
