GrowthPal is building an AI-powered M&A; platform that helps companies identify acquisition opportunities, strategic buyers, and growth opportunities. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a highly dependable accounting qualified who can take complete ownership of finance operations, statutory compliance, and accounting while working closely with the Director of Finance.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and can independently manage deadlines, compliance, and day to day Accounts & Finance Operations - with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate general ledger records using Zoho Books and QuickBooks.

Prepare monthly MIS reports and management reports.

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.

Assist with statutory audits, internal audits, reconciliations, and audit closure.

Support balance sheet consolidation across group entities, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidated schedules under the guidance of the Director of Finance.

Prepare financial data required for investor reporting and management reviews.

Tax & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and Annual Returns).

Reconcile GST using GSTR-2B. Prepare and file TDS returns and generate Form 16 / Form 16A.

Generate and manage E-Way Bills wherever applicable. Maintain a zero-default statutory compliance calendar and ensure timely filings

Invoicing & Vendor Management

Raise customer invoices and monitor receivables.





Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and execute payments.

Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve payment discrepancies.

Maintain vendor master records and payment schedules.

Track company software subscriptions, renewal dates, utilisation, and cancellation of unused tools.

Payroll

Process monthly payroll including salary computation and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT & TDS).

Handle Full & Final settlements.

Support payroll-related statutory compliance and documentation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

M.Com is mandatory; CA Inter or an equivalent professional qualification will be preferred.

5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably with a startup, CA firm, or consulting environment.

Strong hands-on expertise in Zoho Books and QuickBooks (mandatory).

Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting principles.

Exposure to balance sheet consolidation across multiple entities.

Experience supporting investor reporting, MIS reporting, and management reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with AI tools that improve finance productivity and automation.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
