Role Summary The Senior Accountant will manage complex accounting operations, oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare accurate financial reports. This role collaborates closely with finance leadership to streamline accounting procedures, analyze financial discrepancies, and support internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities

- General Ledger & Month-End Close: Manage general ledger accounting, prepare and review journal entries, and perform complex balance sheet reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Variance & Financial Analysis: Analyze budget-to-actual variances, investigate discrepancies, and deliver actionable financial insights to management.
- Audit & Tax Support: Coordinate preparation of audit schedules, liaise with external auditors, and support corporate tax filings and statutory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate internal controls, identify operational bottlenecks,



and implement standard operating procedures to improve close efficiency.
- Team Guidance: Mentor junior staff accountants, review their work for accuracy, and assist with onboarding.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Experience: 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-to-large corporate environment or public accounting firm, construction company accounts preferred. Tally ERP must.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, complex formulas) and hands-on experience with Ai Tools.
- Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, internal controls (SOX compliance where applicable), and financial reporting standards.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
