About the Role

Venkat Tech Global Solutions is expanding its Finance & Accounting Services team and is looking for a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant to support accounting and finance operations for our global clients.

This is a hands-on role covering bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and sales tax , with significant exposure to cloud-based accounting platforms including Xero and Zoho Books .

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions.
- Handle AP, AR and General Ledger activities.
- Perform bank, credit-card and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Prepare accounting schedules and financial reports.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Xero & Zoho Books

- Work hands-on with Xero and Zoho Books .
- Maintain chart of accounts, customer/vendor records and accounting transactions.
- Review system reports and perform accounting reconciliations.
- Support accounting cleanup, migration and process-improvement activities.

US & Australia Payroll

- Support US and Australia payroll processing and payroll reconciliations .
- Review payroll inputs, earnings, deductions, taxes and other payroll components.
- Reconcile payroll reports with accounting records.
- Support payroll accounting entries and payroll-related liabilities.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.

US Sales Tax

- Support US sales tax calculations, reconciliations and compliance activities .
- Assist with sales tax return preparation and filing support.




- Reconcile sales tax collected with accounting records.
- Track sales tax liabilities and payments.
- Research and resolve sales-tax-related discrepancies.

Client Accounting Support

- Work with international clients and internal teams to obtain accounting information.
- Prepare reconciliations and explain accounting variances.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and process controls.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client assignments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Candidate Profile
- Semi Qualified CA – CA Inter / CA Final
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in accounting and reconciliations .
- Experience with Xero and/or Zoho Books preferred.
- Experience in US accounting, payroll or sales tax will be a strong advantage.
- Valuable knowledge of AP, AR and General Ledger.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in

US Accounting | Bookkeeping | Xero | Zoho Books | QuickBooks | US Payroll | US Sales Tax | Bank Reconciliation | Month-End Closing | Accounting Outsourcing / KPO will be preferred.
