The Solution Consultant - OT Security (Armis) is responsible for the assessment, design, deployment, and operationalization of asset visibility and security capability across operational technology, IoT, and unmanaged device estates using the Armis platform. The role leads technical discovery, develops the target OT security architecture, and advises clients on segmentation, risk reduction, and OT security operating models.

The consultant will lead Armis deployment, establish a trusted asset inventory, and convert device and vulnerability intelligence into a practical risk reduction plan the client can execute.

This describes the general nature and level of work required by the position. It is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of qualifications, skills, duties, responsibilities or working conditions of the job. The is subject to change with or without notice, and Management reserves the right to add, modify or remove any qualification or duty.

Job Responsibilities

- Leads Armis Centrix deployment, including collector placement, network traffic sourcing via SPAN or TAP, and integration with the client's existing infrastructure and security stack.
- Establishes and validates a trusted asset inventory across OT, IoT, IoMT, and unmanaged IT devices, and resolves classification and duplication issues.
- Integrates Armis with the client's network, endpoint, identity, vulnerability management, SIEM, and CMDB platforms to enrich asset context and close visibility gaps.
- Analyses device risk and vulnerability data and produces a prioritized, operationally realistic risk reduction plan that accounts for OT availability and change constraints.
- Provides asset and communication flow analysis to inform network segmentation and zone and conduit design aligned to the Purdue model.

- Tunes detection policies and alerting to the client's environment and defines the triage and escalation workflow between IT security operations and OT engineering teams.
- Assesses the client's OT security posture against recognized frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST SP 800-82, and documents gaps with remediation recommendations.
- Produces High Level Design, Low Level Design, build documentation, test evidence, runbooks, and operational handover material to WWT delivery standards.
- Ensures delivery milestones are established and tracked, and delivery progress is forecasted and communicated to the customer, team, and stakeholders.
- Communicates and escalates deviations in scope or timeline appropriately and ensures all contract deliverables are met within the timelines specified in the Statement of Work.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on OT and IoT security trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Supports pre-sales activity including demonstrations, proof of value execution, scoping, and effort estimation for OT security opportunities.

Required Skills

- A minimum of 4 years' progressive experience in OT, ICS, or IoT security, or in network security with OT exposure
- A minimum of 6 years' progressive experience, including hands-on OT asset visibility platform delivery
- Position-specific requirements: hands-on deployment experience with Armis is strongly preferred; equivalent depth on another OT visibility platform (Claroty, Nozomi Networks, Dragos,

Cisco Cyber Vision) with demonstrated ability to convert quickly will be considered. Armis certification is preferred, alongside an OT security credential such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Specialist, or equivalent. Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or utilities environments, and comfort with occasional regional travel to client sites, is an advantage.

- Hands-on expertise with Armis Centrix or an equivalent OT and IoT asset visibility platform, including collector architecture, integrations, and policy tuning.
- Solid understanding of OT and ICS environments, the Purdue reference model, and the availability and safety constraints that govern change in operational environments.
- Working knowledge of industrial and building protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, BACnet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and S7, and how they behave on the wire.
- Solid network engineering fundamentals: switching, VLANs, routing, SPAN and TAP design, firewalls, and network segmentation approaches.
- Familiarity with OT security frameworks and standards including IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Ability to bridge IT security and OT engineering stakeholders, who typically have different priorities, vocabulary, and risk tolerance.
- Excellent communication and engagement skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management and to explain OT risk in business terms.
- Ability to generate creative solutions to difficult or ambiguous problems in environments where standard IT security controls cannot be applied.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio for design documentation and client reporting.
- The ideal candidate is a supportive, positive, self-driven, and growth-oriented individual with a consulting mindset and credibility on a plant or facility floor.
