Role & responsibilities

- Knowledge in ABB 800XA 6.1 DCS, MPC based Expert optimizer, ABB Knowledge manager-based Laboratory information management system &
- Plant information management system, Thermofisher XRF &
- Cross belt analyzer, Malvern Online & offline particle size analyzer, Schneider PowerScada EMS and Programming knowledge in Siemens &
- ABB PLCs, HMIs

- Knowledge in various communication protocols like Profibus, Profinet, Modbus and OPC DA/UA

- Knowledge in Robolab equipment Robot, Sampling Stations, Receiving Station and Mill &

- Press

- Knowledge in Gas Analyzers Maintenance and Calibration

- Operation and maintenance of Field instruments like Temperature, Pressure, Level Transmitters and Switches

- Maintenance implementation for Preventive, Predictive & scheduled maintenance activities in

Co-ordination with SH.

- Maintain equipment master data, maintenance checklists, equipment history, technical documents, and drawings in SAP PM.

- Manage spare parts planning, inventory optimization,



and maintenance cost control through effective utilization of SAP PM/MM modules.

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

- Implement and sustain IMS, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and statutory requirements while executing maintenance activities.

- Coordinate with Production, Mechanical, and other cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

- Monitor equipment performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement reliability enhancement projects.

- Train and mentor maintenance personnel to enhance technical competency and operational excellence.

- Giving timely feedback of the equipment condition to SH/HOD.
