Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Search Engine Optimizer at Syntax Technologies.

The Search Engine

Optimizer will manage and improve organic search performance across company websites and landing pages, including conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page content, and enhancing site structure for SEO best practices. The role involves planning and executing ethical link-building strategies, collaborating with content writers and marketers to align SEO with content and campaign goals, and monitoring rankings and traffic using analytics and SEO tools.

Optimizer will also track performance metrics, generate reports, recommend data-driven improvements, and stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends to ensure continuous optimization.

Qualifications

- Robust keyword research skills, including identifying search intent, volume, and competitive opportunities.
- Experience with link building and off-page SEO techniques using ethical, white-hat strategies.




- Ability to write and optimize web content, including Writing and Web Content Writing focused on SEO best practices.
- Understanding of Marketing principles, including how SEO integrates with broader digital marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword research platforms) and basic data analysis.
- Good grasp of on-page and technical SEO fundamentals, such as meta tags, site speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field; a degree or formal training in marketing, communications, or technology is beneficial but not mandatory.
