Position: SEO Specialist

Location: Vadodara (Onsite) | Type: Full-Time The Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our Vadodara team in a full-time, onsite capacity. This person will own and execute SEO strategy across a diverse client portfolio, spanning local businesses, national brands, and everything in between. The role covers the full spectrum: audits, keyword research, on-page and technical optimization, content collaboration, link building, reporting, and increasingly, visibility in AI-driven search and answer engines.

This is not a role for someone who runs reports and moves on. We want someone who reads a ranking dip and immediately asks why. Someone who looks at a traffic graph and wants to know what changed, what worked, and what didn't get done last month, and why not. The best SEO people on our team are the ones who interrogate their own work before anyone else has to.

What You Will Do

Strategy and Analysis

-Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and identify the highest-impact opportunities for each client

-Track keyword performance, movement, and shifting search intent across all managed accounts

-Analyze Core Web Vitals, crawl health, indexing status, and technical SEO issues

-Translate data into a clear point of view:



what is working, what isn't, and what to do next

Execution

-Lead on-page optimization: metadata, internal linking, content structure, and technical fixes

-Build and execute link-building and digital PR strategies, including outreach for unlinked brand mentions

-Manage Google Business Profile and Bing Places registrations, optimization, and ongoing local SEO for relevant clients

-Collaborate closely with content writers to align topics with actual search demand, not just calendar filling

Emerging Search

-Monitor how clients appear (or don't) in AI-generated answers across major AI platforms

-Track which competitors are being recommended instead of our clients, and build a plan to close that gap

-Strengthen client entity authority and third-party citations to improve visibility in generative search results

Reporting and Accountability

-Prepare detailed, honest performance reports tied to KPIs and business outcomes, not just rankings and traffic

-Flag underperforming accounts early, with a clear diagnosis and a plan, not just a status update

-Come to every review ready to answer: what changed, why, and what we're doing about it

What We're Looking For

-Strong hands-on expertise in SEO, keyword research, and on-page optimization

-Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and standard SEO tooling (Semrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent)

-Demonstrated experience in link-building strategy and backlink analysis

-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the technical fundamentals of website performance

-A track record of adapting quickly to search engine algorithm changes

-Strong analytical instincts and comfort working with data to build a narrative, not just a spreadsheet

-Experience with GMB and Bing Business registration and optimization

-Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred

-Prior experience in an agency or consulting environment is a robust advantage
