Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for improving organic search visibility for Hello Swanky’s website and digital properties. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and implementing link-building strategies.

The specialist will monitor and analyze web analytics data, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO efforts with overall brand and business objectives.



The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO best practices to maintain competitive performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to optimize content, metadata, and site structure.
- Candidates should possess skills in SEO Audits and Web Analytics to assess site performance, identify issues, and measure impact.
- Candidates should possess Link Building skills to develop ethical, high-quality backlink strategies that improve domain authority.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar) and basic HTML/CSS for technical optimization.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with marketing, design, and content teams.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field, and prior experience in SEO for e-commerce or fashion/retail brands, are beneficial.
