- The feature teams developing this application for Issuing teams needs SDETs/Sr.SDETs who can do functional and automation testing to test the features that are committed during the Program Increment (PI) planning.

Roles and Responsibilities for Quality Engineers:

- The MPE team is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and analytical.

- Enthusiastic & passionate about software quality, testing, focus on user experience

- Hands on experience of writing Test scenario & Test cases for software development applications

- Works to build quality by ensuring proper test and code coverage, configuration quality, monitoring

- Experience of working with Agile methodologies.

- Personal attributes are strong logical and Analytical Skills, should be able to articulate and present his/her thoughts very clearly and precisely

- Must have processing experience.

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent work experience with hand on technical and quality engineering skills.

- In-depth understanding &

experience on payments 4 party model

- Solid experience on Card Issuing Platforms (Debit/Credit/Prepaid), Transaction Switch Platforms (like Base24, Electra, Way4) and Processing Platform

- Working experience on Simulators Visa test simulator, test simulator, Paragon or equivalent

- Experience in testing Authorizations, APIs, Web Portals and Batches





- Experience with testing tool like Postman, SoapUI

- Experience on ISO 8583 messaging standards

- Strong background of Integration, System, Functional and end-to-end testing of Payment applications.

- Experience with test automation scripting, execution, reporting

- Python scripting knowledge &

experience will be a huge plus!

- Core Java - Java fundamentals, OOPs concept, Collections Framework, Exception Handling, String Handling, Java 8 features, JSON, CSV, Excel file handling, Coding ability and problem solving)

- Selenium Web Automation - (Selenium Architecture, Webdriver Concept, Locator - Xpath, CSS, Selector etc., Handling waits, Page Object Model, Page Factory, TestNG / Junit, CrossBrowser Testing, Selenium Grid, Parallel Execution Exposure, Error scenario validation)

- API Testing with RestAssured (REST Principles, HTTP status codes, Request/Response specification in RestAssured, Headers, Quary Params, Request body handling, JSON/XML parsing, Schema validation, contract testing basics)

- Playwright Automation (Understanding of Playwright, advantages over Selenium, Browser, Context, page, Locator strategies, auto-waiting, Multiple tabs, frames, dialogs, downloads/uploads, Assertions and test runner, cross browser testing, API testing with Playwright, Trace viewer, hands-on exposure: Java/Typescript)

- Testing Principles and QA Fundamentals (SDLC/STLC, Testcase design techniques, Functional, Refression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration Testing, Defect life-cycle, Test Coverage and traceability, Shift-left testing)

- Automation Framework Design (Understanding of Framework layers and structure, Page Object Model/Screenplay/hybrid framework, Test data management strategy, Config mgmt, Env handling, Reporting, Logging/Debugging, Maintainability, scalability, reusability)"
