- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of merchandise.
- Manage inventory accuracy across categories (apparel, accessories, footwear) in line with Pantaloons’ retail standards.
- Ensure timely inwarding and outwarding of stock to support store replenishment and seasonal demand.
- Coordinate with supply chain, planning, and store operations teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, including supervisors, pickers, and loaders.
- Plan manpower deployment and shift scheduling to optimize productivity during peak seasons and sales.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and compliance standards within the warehouse.
- Monitor shrinkage, pilferage, and damages; implement loss-prevention measures.
- Maintain accurate records using WMS / ERP systems (SAP or similar).




- Track and analyze warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turnaround time, fill rate, and space utilization.
- Handle vendor coordination, transporter management, and issue resolution related to logistics delays.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for quick-moving and slow-moving SKUs.
- Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
- Support omni-channel operations including store replenishment, e-commerce, and returns handling.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
