Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced IB MYP Science Tutor to deliver engaging, concept-driven 1-on-1 online sessions for MYP students (Grades 6–10).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online sessions covering MYP Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics — integrated and discrete)
- Plan lessons aligned with MYP criteria (A–D) and assessment objectives
- Prepare students for criterion-based assessments, lab work/investigations, and the transition to IBDP
- Track student progress and share regular updates with parents
- Adapt teaching to individual learning styles and student pace
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience in an edtech or IB school setting
- Strong knowledge of the MYP Science framework, criteria, and current syllabus
- Excellent English communication skills
- Tech setup: laptop with camera/mic, pen tablet, and stable wifi
- Available for versatile online session slots (India & Middle East time zones)
Nice to Have
- Experience with MYP eAssessments or Personal Project supervision
- IB training/certification
