Role Description: The Science/Math Facilitator will design and deliver engaging, concept-driven learning experiences in science and mathematics for school-age learners. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves facilitating inquiry-based sessions, guiding hands-on experiments, and leading activities that strengthen observation, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.

The facilitator will collaborate with the Seed2Sapling team and partner schools to align sessions with the 3H learning philosophy and program objectives.



Daily responsibilities include planning lessons and activities, preparing materials and learning aids, assessing learner understanding through formative feedback, and maintaining a supportive, inclusive classroom setting. The facilitator will also participate in internal training, curriculum discussions, and continuous improvement of learning resources.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in science and/or mathematics, with the ability to explain core concepts clearly and accurately.
- Experience or interest in inquiry-based and experiential learning approaches, including hands-on activities and discovery-driven facilitation.
- Ability to foster skills such as observation, hypothesizing, critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creativity among learners.
- Effective classroom facilitation and group management skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive approach.
- Clear and confident communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field; a teaching certification or prior facilitation experience is preferred.
- Comfort working with children and adolescents in school settings, with a commitment to their emotional and ethical development.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt methods to diverse learner needs.
