Position - SASE Solutions Engineer

Location - Mumbai

Role Overview -

We are looking for a SASE Solutions Engineer to drive presales, implementation, and support activities for Cloudflare One deployment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with any leading SASE/SSE platform (Cloudflare One, Zscaler, Netskope, FortiSASE, etc.) and is comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders across the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Presales -

- Support sales team in customer discovery calls, solution positioning, and RFP/RFI responses.
- Design SASE architecture (ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, RBI) based on customer requirements.
- Conduct POCs/demos of Cloudflare One capability for prospective clients.
- Prepare SOWs, technical proposals, and BoQs for SASE engagements.
- Conduct competitive positioning against Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Prisma, FortiSASE etc. Implementation.
- Deploy Cloudflare One components: ZTNA (Access), SWG (Gateway), CASB, DLP, RBI, Magic WAN.
- Configure identity integration (Azure AD/Okta SSO), device posture, and policy rulesets.
- Migrate customers from legacy VPN/proxy solutions to SASE architecture.
- Conduct UAT and handover documentation post-deployment Support.
- Provide L1/L2 support for live Cloudflare One environment.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, policy, and authentication issues.
- Monitor SASE dashboards/logs for anomalies and performance issues.




- Coordinate with Cloudflare TAC for escalations.
- Maintain runbooks, knowledge base articles, and change documentation.

Required Skills -

- Hands-on experience with at least one SASE/SSE platform: Cloudflare One, Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA), Netskope, FortiSASE, Prisma Access, etc.
- Understanding of core SASE components: ZTNA, SWG, CASB, DLP, RBI
- Understanding of Cloudflare DNS and Cloudflare WAF
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, VPN, SD-WAN)
- Familiarity with identity/SSO integration (Azure AD, Okta, SAML)
- Ability to read/write technical documentation (SOWs, HLDs, runbooks)
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers in presales/technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications -

- Cloudflare certifications (Cloudflare Certified Solutions Architect/Administrator) or equivalent vendor certs (Zscaler ZCCA/ZCCP, Netskope NCSE, NSE)
- Prior experience in a systems integrator/consulting environment
- Exposure to related security domains (firewall, EDR, PAM, WAF) is a plus.

- Ability to balance presales, delivery, and support responsibilities
- Analytical mindset for troubleshooting complex network/security issues
- Self-driven with ability to manage multiple customer engagements.
