Role Description The SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Specialist will work on a contract basis in a remote capacity, supporting clients in the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Employee Central Payroll.

Responsibilities include analyzing payroll requirements, configuring payroll rules and master data, validating payroll results, and troubleshooting complex issues in collaboration with client HR and finance teams.



The specialist will participate in payroll-related integrations, testing activities, and release management to ensure stable and compliant payroll operations. Daily tasks also involve documenting solutions, advising stakeholders on best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the broader SAP SuccessFactors landscape.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Business Process design and optimization within HR and payroll contexts.
- Applied Analytical Skills for diagnosing payroll issues, interpreting data, and validating configuration outcomes.
- Consulting experience, including stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
- Knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration points with SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll.
- Experience managing Master Data in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Payroll.
- Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll configuration and support.
- Familiarity with HR and payroll compliance, reporting, and integration best practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple client priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, HR, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant SAP or SuccessFactors certifications are an advantage.
