SAP R2R & Treasury Consultant

Timezone - 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST (UK Business Hours)

Work Mode: Remote

Duration: 3 - 6 Months, with possibility of extension based on project requirements

Profile: SAP R2R and Treasury Consultant with UK statutory accounting and S/4HANA Financials experience

Primary Focus: Hands-on delivery across UK accounting, statutory reporting and treasury processes on S/4HANA

Experience: 7+ years in SAP R2R and Treasury

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVER

This is a hands-on delivery role within a large-scale S/4HANA programme. Working under the R2R and Treasury Architect, you will be responsible for configuration, testing and go-live delivery across UK accounting and treasury scope:

Support validation of UK statutory accounting, tax and compliance requirements within the SAP design.

Configure and support payment and banking integration flows: PTX, BACS, Direct Debit, CAMT.053 and Citibank connectivity.

Support global template alignment and assist in documenting UK-specific exceptions and localisation requirements.

Work alongside offshore configuration teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of R2R and Treasury scope.

Execute SIT and UAT test cycles, log and triage defects and support functional validation activities.

Support cutover preparation including opening balances, data migration checks and hypercare activities.

Assist reporting teams in ensuring statutory accuracy of financial outputs.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITY REQUIRED

SAP R2R & S/4HANA Financials

Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Financials covering General Ledger, period-end close, statutory reporting and intercompany processes.





Working knowledge of UK statutory accounting requirements and compliance obligations within an SAP landscape.

Experience designing R2R processes for global template programmes with country-specific requirements.

Solid documentation skills: functional specifications, configuration guides and test scripts.

Treasury & Banking Integration

Hands-on experience with SAP Treasury and payment process design: PTX, BACS, Direct Debit and electronic payment formats.

CAMT.053 bank statement integration design and configuration experience.

Citibank or equivalent enterprise banking integration experience within SAP.

Working knowledge of cash management, bank account management and payment run processes in S/4HANA.

Testing & Delivery

SIT and UAT execution experience: test script preparation, defect logging, triage and resolution support.

Cutover support: opening balance validation, data migration readiness checks and hypercare stabilisation.

Experience working in offshore-onshore delivery models with globally distributed teams.

Proactive in flagging issues, risks and blockers early to keep delivery on track.
