Title: SAP OpenText VIM Consultant

Location: India

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Description

- 5 – 8 years of overall SAP experience with 5+ years hands-on OpenText VIM across ECC and S/4HANA.
- Own the VIM upgrade lifecycle – impact assessment, upgrade design document, pre-upgrade housekeeping, technical upgrade coordination with Basis/OpenText, functional validation, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
- At least one end-to-end VIM version upgrade or one VIM-in-scope S/4HANA conversion delivered as the functional lead.
- Experience upgrading VIM on S/4HANA 2023 / 2025 and enabling Fiori VIM apps
- Build regression test packs covering PO invoices, non-PO invoices, credit memos, utility invoices, and country-specific tax cases; drive SIT, UAT, and performance testing. Completed at least 1 full-lifecycle SAP VIM implementations in a lead or senior consultant capacity.




- Hands-on configuration expertise: DP, IAP, Business Rules Framework, Chart of Authority, Options, Roles, Agents, Process Types, Document Types , and Workplace layouts.
- Proficient in resolving workflow issues
- Solid grasp of SAP FI-AP and MM LIV – MIRO, three-way match, GR/IR clearing, tolerance groups, tax and WHT determination, payment blocks, park & post.
- Working knowledge of IDocs , and interfaces to third-party OCR / eInvoicing platforms.
- Hands-on with OpenText capture solutions
- Familiarity with SNOTE, SPAM/SAINT (from a functional-impact perspective), and OSS note application .
