Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Application Expert - SAP Business ByDesign to join our Finance Application Support team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Business ByDesign (ByD), with a primary focus on Finance modules and application support.

In this role, you will act as a key liaison between the Finance stakeholders and the support team, ensuring timely resolution of application issues while driving business-oriented solutions. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of finance processes and be able to recommend both system and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert-level support for SAP Business ByDesign Finance modules, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Design and recommend both system-based and process-based solutions to improve business performance.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP ByDesign Finance and share best practices within the team.




- Coordinate with application vendors for issue escalations and stay updated on recent functionalities and product enhancements.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and application-related queries.
- Support business users in maximizing the value of SAP Business ByDesign capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with SAP Business ByDesign (ByD), preferably in Finance modules.
- Hands-on experience in Finance Application Support / AMS environments.
- Good understanding of core finance processes such as:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Fixed Assets

- Financial Reporting
- Experience in business process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide effective solutions.
- Experience working with vendors and external support teams is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Finance domain experience combined with SAP Business ByDesign expertise.
- Exposure to global support environments and service management processes.
