SAP BTP Fiori Consultant / Technical Lead

Experience

9+ years overall SAP experience, with robust hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP BTP.

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Fiori Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support modern SAP Fiori applications and cloud-based extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate should have strong experience in SAPUI5/Fiori development, BTP services, S/4HANA integration, OData services, and side-by-side extensions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for SAP S/4HANA and BTP environments.
- Develop custom Fiori applications and extend standard Fiori applications.
- Work extensively with SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML and JSON.
- Develop and consume OData V2/V4, REST APIs and SAP Gateway services.
- Develop cloud-native and side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP.
- Hands-on development using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and/or VS Code.
- Work with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP/CAPM) using Node.js or Java.
- Configure and manage SAP BTP services, including Destinations, HTML5 Application Repository, Authorization and Trust Management.
- Configure SAP Build Work Zone / Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, spaces, pages, roles and tiles.
- Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA, IAS, OAuth/SAML and BTP role collections.
- Integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, ECC and third-party systems.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud/CDS and understand data modelling concepts.
- Support clean-core and side-by-side extension strategies.




- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions and solutioning.
- Lead development activities and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance optimization and technical troubleshooting.
- Implement CI/CD and version control using Git, Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities including development, testing, deployment and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs and development standards.
- Interact with clients and functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- 9+ years of SAP experience.
- 6+ years hands-on SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
- 3+ years hands-on SAP BTP experience preferred.
- Solid SAPUI5 and Fiori development expertise.
- Strong knowledge of Fiori Elements and Fiori Design Guidelines.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML and JSON skills.
- Strong experience with OData V2/V4 and REST APIs.
- Experience with SAP Gateway and S/4HANA integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Good knowledge of SAP BTP Cockpit, Cloud Foundry and BTP services.
- Experience with CAP/CAPM and Node.js/Java.
- Experience with BTP Destinations, Role Collections, Authorization and Trust Management.
- Experience with SAP Build Work Zone / Fiori Launchpad.
- Knowledge of XSUAA, IAS, OAuth and SAML.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and Fiori integration.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
