Position: SAP BTP Developer

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

Employment Type: Permanent (Full-time)

Role Overview:

- We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Developer with a minimum of 4 years of developer experience, to join our dynamic team. You will be

responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and integrations on the SAP BTP platform.
- You will play a key role in mentoring team members and contributing to a team-oriented, forward-thinking development environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop SAP BTP-based applications using CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model, Node.js, or Java.
- Development of AI-supported applications and extensions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Integration of AI services into SAP Cloud ERP applications and existing system landscapes
- Implementation of use cases together with AI Business Consultants and Solution Architects
- Development of interfaces and APIs for connecting external AI services
- Use and integration of SAP AI services (e.g., Document AI, Automation, Joule Context)
- Build and consume REST/OData APIs using SAP API Management and SAP Integration Suite.
- Develop Fiori/UI5 applications and deploy them on SAP BTP.
- Develop Side-by-Side Extensions for SAP S/4HANA on BTP.
- Work with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Business Application Studio for backend services.
- Work on Integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).




- Collaborate with business, cross-functional and cross-cultural teams spread across the globe.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of developed solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates from SAP BTP.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Engineering Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP & BTP development.
- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) model.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing applications using Node.js and/or Java.
- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Business Application Studio.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud and database modeling.
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and CPI.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Professional Attributes

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Exposure to German language/culture is a plus.
- Experience in working with global stakeholders and ability to work with intercultural teams.
- Extensive experience collaborating in SCRUM-based Agile teams.
- Flexibility to work according to German time zones. (IST 09:30/10:30-19:00/20:00 only if candidate asks explicitly)
- Available for short-term international travel for meetings, training, and project activities. ( more frequently at start for team Bonding only if candidate asks explicitly)
