Job Summary

We are looking for SAP BASIS Consultants across Junior, Associate and Senior levels to support SAP technical operations, administration, upgrades, deployments and production support across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA, Sybase, SAP Web Dispatcher and SAP BTP environments .

The role will involve SAP system monitoring and administration, troubleshooting, system maintenance, technical upgrades, product deployments and production support. Senior-level consultants will additionally take ownership of complex technical activities, implementations, RCA and cross-functional coordination.

Experience Levels

- Junior SAP BASIS Consultant: 1–2 years
- Associate SAP BASIS Consultant: 4–5 years
- Senior SAP BASIS Consultant: 6–8+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Perform SAP BASIS administration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Support SAP ECC and S/4HANA system administration and health checks.
- Monitor and support SAP HANA and Sybase databases.
- Perform user administration, authorization support, RFC configuration and background job monitoring.
- Monitor work processes, system logs, short dumps, system performance and alerts.
- Manage SAP transports using STMS .
- Support SAP system startup/shutdown and routine maintenance activities.
- Perform or support SPAM, SAINT, SUM and SWPM activities.
- Support SAP Add-on installation, upgrades and uninstallation.
- Execute/support SAP kernel upgrades, patches and Support Package updates.
- Perform/support system refresh, client copy and system copy activities.
- Configure and troubleshoot SAP Web Dispatcher .
- Support backup and recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving DNS, ports, certificates and network connectivity.
- Support SAP product deployments and production environments.
- Perform incident troubleshooting, problem management and Root Cause Analysis.




- Support SAP BTP On-Premise/Private and Public Cloud environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures and knowledge articles in Confluence.
- Work closely with Development, Functional, Security, Infrastructure, Network, Database, Product and Cloud teams.

Required Skills

- SAP BASIS experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Understanding of SAP system administration and technical architecture.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and database administration/monitoring.
- Working knowledge of SAP GUI and BASIS T-codes.
- Knowledge of users, authorizations, RFCs, background jobs and transports.
- Knowledge of work processes, profiles, system parameters, logs and short dumps.
- Experience/exposure to STMS, SPAM, SAINT, SUM and SWPM .
- Experience/exposure to kernel upgrades, patches and Support Packages.
- Knowledge of system refresh and client copy activities.
- Linux/Unix and/or Windows administration knowledge.
- Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to support production environments and learn current SAP technologies.

Additional Skills – Associate / Senior Level

Senior – 6–8+ Years Candidates should demonstrate strong ownership of:

- Kernel upgrades and Support Packages
- System refresh/system copy
- Product deployments and implementations

- Cross-functional technical coordination

Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who are technically strong, production-support oriented, good troubleshooters and willing to work across traditional SAP BASIS and newer SAP BTP environments .

Candidates with shorter notice periods will be preferred.
