Role Overview
- We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically driven SAP Associate – SAP Integration with 0–3 years of experience to join our SAP team in Gurugram.
- The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of SAP integration concepts and hands-on exposure to technologies such as SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP Integration Suite, and SAP API Management (APIM).
- This position is suitable for candidates who want to develop their careers in SAP integration while gaining exposure to real-world enterprise projects, client environments, development activities, and account management.
- You will work closely with senior SAP consultants, architects, developers, and account stakeholders on implementation, integration, support, and customer engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with senior SAP team members on SAP integration development, implementation, testing, and support activities.
- Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Assist in designing and implementing APIs using SAP API Management (APIM).
- Support integration between SAP and non-SAP applications using APIs and standard integration technologies.
- Work with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, OData, JSON, XML, HTTPS, and related integration protocols and formats.
- Assist senior consultants and architects with technical analysis, solution development, documentation,
and troubleshooting.
- Participate in requirement discussions and convert business requirements into technical integration tasks.
- Perform testing, debugging, monitoring, and issue resolution for integration scenarios.
- Support API policies, authentication, security, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for integrations, APIs, configurations, and development activities.
- Collaborate with internal development teams and customer stakeholders.
- Assist senior team members in handling assigned customer accounts, including technical coordination, issue tracking, follow-ups, and delivery support.
- Participate in customer calls and provide technical updates where required.
- Follow development standards, code-review processes, documentation standards, and project timelines.
- Continuously develop knowledge across the SAP BTP and SAP Integration ecosystem.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Candidates should have good knowledge or practical exposure in the following areas:
- SAP Integration Suite
- SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
- SAP API Management (APIM)
- SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP)
- REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
- OData Services
- JSON and XML
- API authentication and authorization concepts
- Integration monitoring and troubleshooting
- Understanding of cloud and enterprise application integration concepts
- Knowledge of technologies such as Groovy scripting, OAuth 2.0, certificates, destinations, Cloud Connector, event-driven integration,
or SAP systems such as S/4HANA will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 0–3 years of relevant experience.
- Freshers with strong SAP Integration training, certification, internship experience, or hands-on project exposure may also be considered.
- Candidates with hands-on exposure to SAP CPI/Cloud Integration and SAP APIM will be preferred.
- Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related technical discipline.
- Relevant SAP training and certifications will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
- This position requires candidates to work in the US shift aligned with the CST (Central Standard Time) time zone.
- Candidates should be comfortable collaborating with customers and team members operating during US business hours.
