Job Overview

Title: SAP APO GATP Consulant

Location: Pan India

Mode: hybrid

Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience required.

We are looking for an experienced SAP APO GATP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP APO Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) and proven experience working on SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of GATP, Availability Check, Product Allocation, Backorder Processing, and integration with SAP S/4HANA. Candidates with only production support or maintenance experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute SAP APO GATP implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Work on SAP S/4HANA implementation projects involving ATP/GATP processes.

Configure and implement Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) functionality.

Design and configure Availability Check, Product Allocation, Backorder Processing, and related ATP scenarios.

Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP APO GATP solutions.

Configure integration between SAP APO GATP and SAP S/4HANA.

Work closely with SD, MM, PP, Supply Chain Planning, and other SAP teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.

Support integration testing, UAT, cutover, data validation, and go-live activities.

Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams for enhancements and interfaces.

Troubleshoot implementation-related issues and ensure successful solution deployment.





Participate in workshops with business stakeholders and provide functional recommendations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in SAP APO GATP.

Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects – Mandatory.

Hands-on experience in at least one or more end-to-end SAP implementation/rollout projects involving GATP.

Supply and Demand integration

ATP-related master data and configuration

Strong understanding of integration between SAP APO and SAP S/4HANA.

Good understanding of SAP SD and order fulfillment processes.

Experience in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Advanced ATP (aATP) is an advantage.

Experience with SAP APO modules such as DP, SNP, or PP/DS is beneficial.

Experience in complex supply chain / order fulfillment environments.

SAP certification in APO/ATP or S/4HANA is a plus.
